Throughout each submission season, our jury team will review and nominate projects in a variety of categories. All nominated projects receive official award laurels in HQ digital format, promotional features on our official website and social channels to over 15,000 followers, and may feature their award nominations on IMDb. Winners in each main category receive official award laurels & certificates in HQ digital format, screening slots at #SPFF24 & the chance to win a £500 cash prize film grant for their next project!

RULES & TERMS
Screen Power Film Festival accepts films from a wide variety of themes, placing no restrictions on the content of your submissions. We encourage filmmakers with bold, unique and powerful stories to submit, providing they adhere to the full list of rules and terms below.
⍟ All short film submissions must be under 30 minutes in duration.
⍟ All short script submissions must be under 30 pages in length.
⍟ All script submissions must be written in English.
⍟ Foreign language films (non-English speaking) must have subtitles in English.
⍟ Submitted projects must have been made after January 1st, 2021.
⍟ Entry fees are paid in full at the time of submission. Filmmakers can only pay/submit via FilmFreeway.
⍟ All submissions must be fully complete at the time of submission. Incomplete submissions will not be selected.
⍟ We require proof of student status for student submissions.
⍟ Monthly and Quarterly contest winners from each main award category (Best Short Film, Best International Short Film, Best Documentary Film, Best Student Film, Best Animated Film, Best Experimental Film, and Best Micro Film) are the only eligible categories for live screening at our annual event.
⍟ By submitting to us, you are giving consent to have your films promoted via our website and social media pages. This includes the use of posters, photographs and trailers. We will not show the full-length version of your film until the event (if selected). For the event, filmmakers will be asked to provide an HD, MOV or MP4 copy of the film.
⍟ The releases for all content including, but not limited to, music and talent must be obtained by the filmmaker. Screen Power Film Festival is not liable for any copyright infringement or unauthorised usage.
⍟ We reserve the right to refuse entries from the competition at any time. Refunds may not be permitted.
